In November 2024, the Handicap International (HI) Federation obtained once again the IDEAS Label. Awarded for the next three years, it attests to the association's implementation of good practice in governance, finance and evaluation.
In 2024, HI Federation was awarded the IDEAS label for the third time, for a period of three years. This label commits our association to a process of continuous improvement to optimise its work with vulnerable populations. The members of the Label Committee noted the efforts made to implement the good practices encouraged by the IDEAS Institute. The quality of HI Federation's governance, financial management and monitoring of the effectiveness of its activities has thus been recognised.
“We are proud to be awarded the IDEAS label for the third time running. Obtaining this label demonstrates the high standards we place at the heart of our humanitarian commitment to the most vulnerable populations,” says Emmanuelle Weber, HI Director of Risk Management and Audits.
The IDEAS Label is awarded by an independent committee. Its diverse composition means that the Label Committee can draw on the skills and experience of sponsors, funders, associations, foundations, experts from the voluntary sector and from the control and audit professions. The Label IDEAS standards cover the key areas of the organisation, with a view to optimising its operation and effectiveness.
